NUAgo is not developing another targeted oncology drug.
We are developing a repeatable RNAi-based therapeutic framework grounded in
fundamental cancer biology.

Value Proposition

NUAgo’s platform engages a conserved vulnerability shared across malignant cells, enabling development of a repeatable class of therapeutics across multiple cancers.

NUAgo is developing a platform of RNAi-based therapeutics grounded in fundamental cancer biology. Rather than targeting individual oncogenic mutations or signaling pathways, NUAgo therapeutics engage RNA interference to reduce expression of survival genes that cells depend on for viability. This disruption of survival gene networks collapses the cellular survival system and triggers a conserved cell death outcome.

This mechanism exists in all cells. In cancer cells, however, loss of microRNA regulation removes a key layer of protection, creating a shared vulnerability that can be therapeutically exploited. Because this malignant state is common across solid tumors, the same biological logic can be applied across multiple indications, enabling development of a scalable oncology platform.

Platform Differentiation

Biology-Driven Mechanism

Most oncology therapeutics are designed to recognize specific mutations or tumor markers. NUAgo Therapeutics’ technology instead exploits evolutionarily conserved biology that governs survival gene regulation.

Cellular system-level approach

NUAgo therapeutics reduce expression of multiple survival genes simultaneously, disrupting survival gene networks and collapsing the cellular survival system.

Selectivity is not by design

Cancer selectivity is a direct consequence of the malignant state. The global reduction of microRNA expression in cancer cells removes protective buffering present in normal cells, creating a shared vulnerability that NUAgo therapeutics exploit.

Platform repeatability

Because the underlying biology of the malignant state is shared across solid tumors, the same therapeutic logic can be applied across multiple indications, enabling parallel development of RNAi-based therapeutics.

Partnering

NUAgo seeks partners to advance development of its RNAi-based therapeutic platform and oncology pipeline.

The company’s lead program, NU003, represents an initial clinical development partnership opportunity, while the broader platform continues to generate additional therapeutic opportunities across multiple tumor types.

Because the underlying biology exploited by the NUAgo platform is shared across malignant cells, the same therapeutic framework can be applied across multiple indications. NUAgo is therefore interested in partnerships that combine the company’s biological innovation with the development, clinical, and commercial expertise required to translate this framework into new medicines for patients. Opportunities may include development of existing programs as well as expansion into additional indications where validated delivery approaches support therapeutic translation.
